Déviant has become one of my favorite places to eat in Paris because the menu always feels fresh and unpretentious. There’s a focus on seasonal ingredients, so every time I go there’s something new to try—whether it’s a perfectly cooked fish, a plate of charcuterie, or vegetables done in a way that makes them the star of the meal. The wine list is just as thoughtful, with plenty of natural bottles that pair effortlessly with the food. I like that it never feels fussy—just good, straightforward cooking that keeps me coming back.
